Mitchell Steed, FBI Student and Fashion Editor of anewmuse.net is proof that hard work and passion can get you where you dream to be.

In 2009, Mitch was selected to take part in the FBI Mentor Program, whereby a relationship is formed between a fashion mentor and a student. The mentor helps the Student determine the path they need to take in order to get to their ultimate destination within the fashion industry. Mitch described this experience as “the ultimate leg-up in a tough industry.”

Last year Mitch started his own personal styling business and already has some loyal clients. Soon Mitch will be taking on celebrity clients. The business is also set to expand into advertising and Mitch already has some clients interested in booking him for their upcoming campaigns.

The past 6 months have been a cyclone of activity for Mitch of styling numerous runway shows across Australia, whilst juggling photo shoots, personal styling, and fashion talks. Some of the runways Mitch has styled include T by Bettina Liano Launch, Myer Melbourne Youth Department Launch, and Vogue Fashion Night out where Mitch styled fashion showcases for Myer’s Australian Designers including Jayson Brundson, Charlie Brown and Wayne Cooper.

Mitch has recently taken on a temporary contract with Myer as Event Manager for NSW.
