About Workplace Training
Workplace Training is a compulsory component of all FBI Courses. The FBI Workplace Training Program gives you invaluable on-the-job experience. Each FBI Student must complete a minimum of two weeks structured Workplace Training.
Workplace Training is imperative for those wanting to gain knowledge and skills relevant to the Fashion Industry. It aims to guide Students with career choice, provide an insight into the Fashion Industry and enable them to create a CV that tells their ‘story of Fashion’. To obtain the best possible opportunities for each Student, we work closely with a number of Companies in the Fashion Industry. The Workplace Training Coordinator deals with each Student individually. This personal approach adopted by FBI ensures that all Students know that they are not just a number; but a face, a personality and an individual with specific Career goals.
The FBI Careers Department has succeeded in placing Students into positions at sass & bide, Harper’s BAZAAR, Gucci, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Dolly Magazine, Alice McCall, Zimmermann, Marie Claire, Oyster Magazine, Wayne Cooper, Hermés, Kirrily Johnston, Channel 7 Wardrobe, David Jones’ Ltd Buying Office, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Alex Perry, Shop Til You Drop Magazine, Yen Magazine, ACP Magazines, Chanel, Ksubi to name but a few.
