FBI Fashion Business Initiative

The Fashion Business Initiative aims to assist entrepreneurs in their Fashion Business endeavours. The grant will be $10,000 to be awarded in a ceremony at the End of Year Fashion Parade.

Applications will close Midday September 23rd 2011.
Shortlisted applicants will be selected to make a presentation to the judging panel.
Presentations will take place throughout November.
The winner will be announced at the FBI Parade and Graduation in December.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • You must be a past or present FBI Student.
  • You must have a registered business in your name to show that steps have already been taken to establish your business. This must have been done prior to June 24th 2011.
  • You must submit a full business plan.
  • You must provide a budget indicating how you would utilise the $10,000 grant.
  • Your business model must be for a small business.
Judging Criteria:
  • The most comprehensive business plan.
  • Viability of business idea.
  • Market niche.
  • Vision.
  • Presentation.

Ensure you attach your proof of registration of business, business plan and any other relevant information.

Terms and Conditions
1. Entry is open only to past and present FBI Fashion College Students. Employees, past or present of FBI Fashion College and each of their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
2. Applications open Monday 27th of June 2011 and close Midday 23rd of September 2011.
3. Applicants must be available to present throughout the month of November if shortlisted. Applicants must also be available to attend the FBI Parade and Graduation on Monday December 12th 2011.
4. If business is not a sole trader, business partner must also be an FBI Student, past or present.
5. FBI accepts no liability if the business fails. Conversely, FBI will accept no remuneration if the business succeeds.
6. Documentation for 80% of the total grant must be provided to FBI as proof of expenditure.
7. The award is granted at the discretion of FBI.
8. Submission of application deems acceptance of Terms and Conditions.
